PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To drive the transformation of the business’s technical capability to support the ambitious and exciting growth strategy. Partnering with senior executives and cross functional teams to deliver mission critical services that will support our leading-edge growth plans. As a leader and manager, you will build and support a high-performance team and help them deliver results through coaching and inspiring leadership that builds trust and engagement.

 

 ABOUT THE ROLE:

To lead and motivate the IT systems and applications team to design and deliver a portfolio of complex change projects and initiatives to support efficient and sustainable growth.

 

  • Demonstrate strong collaboration with IT peers and colleagues to define, agree and implement Group wide systems / platforms.
  • Provide direction, leadership and inspiration to all technical teams
  • Own the continuous improvement programme of the ERP (D365) including sharing best practice and problem resolutions in addition to other Group operational platforms
  • Initiate and implement future technology solutions, particularly to support inventory warehousing and payroll
  • Define and lead all future systems upgrades
  • Drive actions to simplify operational procedures, implement process efficiencies and improve performance                   
  • Strengthen and develop relationships with key internal senior stakeholders, oriented around business partnering

 

ABOUT YOU:

You will be a leader of the design and delivery of complex systems environments in customer focused industries. Including the continual development of ERP platforms (ideally D365) and upgrades to support growth and innovation.

A master in defining and delivering strategic IT road maps, large programmes of application change through strong leadership of technical teams and outside providers. Our aim is to create “slick” operational systems & processes working with internal and external partners and other support office functions to maximise efficiencies and customer focus to support our extensive growth plan.

 

  • Customer centric industry experience within retail or hospitality would be ideal
  • Experience gained within large scale ERP deployments, implementations, and upgrades (D365, F&SCM, Business Central, NAV or other retail applications would be advantageous)
  • Dealing with complex, challenging, and dispersed systems is a must
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale, Customer experience (CE or CRM) solutions
  • Experience with Azure, VSTS, LCS, DEVOPS and Power BI
  • Experience in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills
  • Ability & Experience to use data warehousing platforms.
  • Experience with, and implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) is ideal
  • Successful experience of process improvement and delivering efficiencies within a change environment
  • Experience of growing, leading, and motivating a large multi skilled technical IT team
  • A background of technology implementation in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
