Job Introduction

Role Purpose


To lead, engage and develop highly skilled and knowledgeable teams to provide an outstanding operation keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do.  Execute and deliver fantastic administration controls, as well as maintain the highest standards within the hub and always ensure a compliant operation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop and engage a team of colleagues to drive a successful commercial business operation.
  • Be aware of service standards and the latest Do We Measure Up scores, proactively seeking and acting on customer feedback to improve the customer experience with both pre-fitting and post-fitting calls.
  • Accountability for developing a team of high performers with continuous improvement, through use of effective coaching, development, reviews, and performance management.
  • Ensure adherence to all company/legislative requirements, specifically in regard to compliance, including but not exhaustive to Health & Safety, mandatory learning plans, security, employment legislation and all administration.
  • Ensure the teams have the required knowledge and confidence in both the administration and operation of a hub. 
  • Manage the end-to-end relationship with the fitting partners, ensuring they have the required paperwork and are fitting to a good standard as a minimum standard.  Responsible for recruiting further fitting partners when required to meet the demand of the hub.  
  • Accountable for all stock.  Communicate clearly with the C and F team so the warehouse can be run efficiently. Ensure that all processes and procedures are followed robustly in line with company expectations resulting in a positive audit result.  Follow up as required to ensure structured and measurable actions are agreed and implemented.
  • Understand, drive, and improve all areas of operational compliance, efficiency, and security – ensuring that the hub adheres to policy, process and procedures to provide a safe environment for colleagues and customers.




Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience  


  • Previous experience of managing a team to deliver results                                         Essential
  • Experience of working with fitting partners                                                              Desirable
  • Experience of working within a retail logistics environment                                        Desirable

  • Organised  
  • Able to prioritise numerous tasks whilst always ensuring a smooth efficient service within the hub.
  • Ability to find solutions with minimum supervision, within a fast-paced environment.
