Retail Project Support Coordinator (Dynamics)

Role Responsibility

Role Purpose:

To effectively support the Retail Dynamics team within their areas of responsibilities such as, completing regression and unit testing for system upgrades and bug fixes, analyse system enhancements, troubleshoot process and system issues etc.

You should have a keen eye for detail and effective communication skills, ensuring that the final configuration and all its underlying processes work correctly as defined in the design documents.

This role is permanent and will be based at the Carpetright store support office in Purfleet, Essex.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Support the Dynamics Retail team in the preparation of unit test scripts
  • Executing User acceptance test scripts and reviewing intended results
  • Document testing outcomes (Success, Failure, Bugs etc.)
  • Undertake continuous regression testing
  • Create logs to document any identified exceptions
  • Active participation in workshops
  • Help troubleshoot process and system problems logged by Store Colleagues
  • Support the Dynamics Retail team to review and analyse system enhancements and upgrades
  • Work with the cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the Dynamics environment
  • Support the preparation of reference training material to assist store colleagues
  • Constantly reviewing ways of working and where, as a team benefit can be added to support i.e. training guides, video support, virtual/physical training sessions etc.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience on Retail element of Microsoft D365
  • Robust understanding of existing retail processes
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Adaptive to modern technology and new processes
  • Ability to understand and apply new process concepts
    (i.e. supported by: Functional process descriptions and process workflows)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to document findings clearly
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with all levels of the project team
  • Autonomous in achieving objectives
