Retail Operations Administrator

Role Responsibility

Role Purpose

To work closely with the Performance & Communications Manager to support the department with the effective coordination and management of daily systems, administrative tasks and store queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author quality operational documents including Store Operational Manual and Weekly Bulletin
  • Publish, approve and maintain content on the company intranet system, when required
  • Support with the production of reports for the Performance & Communications Manager
  • Manage the daily department administrative tasks
  • Support of effective communications to both SSO and stores
  • Manage the store queries (both telephone calls and Retail Operations inbox)
  • Hiring of vehicles and vans

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience  

  • Experience of working in a Head Office Retail environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Intranet systems – preferred but not essential
  • A proven track record in a similar role
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Computer literate with the ability to effectively analyse data provided.
  • Background involving administrative and/or system support roles.
  • To possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and takes a pro-active approach to build excellent working relationships with Field, Store and SSO colleagues  
  • Monitor and co-ordinate business related information.
  • Well-developed written communication skills (essential)
