The opportunity:  Group Digital UX Lead, Purfleet Head Office/Hybrid with occasional travel to the other Head Offices

 

 

About the opportunity:

 

This is a unique opportunity to join our wonderful Group Digital team. You’ll be tasked with leading on and delivering brilliantly innovative customer journeys for each of the Nestware businesses which meets both their customers’ needs and creates market leading experiences

 

  • You will be the person responsible for working with each of the Nestware businesses on the development of UX that is right for their customers, recognising that the customers of each business may have different needs and desired outcomes
  • You'll be responsible for developing UX strategies that will align with commercial goals of each of the business in the Nestware Group and our Group Digital strategy
  • Developing customer journeys from scratch or improve existing ones through user research and developing empathy with the end user
  • Creating omnichannel experiences – cross platform and cross device solutions
  • Using design thinking techniques to identify opportunity areas for new experiences, propositions, products, and services, then help bring together the thinking around feasible, and viable solutions
  • Consistency is important, so not only will you need to know what good design looks like, you will also be able to spot opportunities to use the shared technologies and platforms across the Group.
  • You’ll be organising and leading requirements workshops across the Nestware businesses to define the needs of their customers and conducting meetings with senior stakeholders to present your work and gain feedback
  • This is practical role so you will be creating UX deliverables across all phases of the design process, including workshops, research, and usability testing
  • Creating design artefacts – e.g., personas, journey maps, storyboards, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, etc

 

 

 

About you:

 

 

  • Experienced UX lead with a compelling track record of delivering customer centric solutions that add commercial value
  • You have in-depth knowledge of design methodologies like Design thinking and Lean UX You have extensive experience of organising and executing usability testing and user interviews
  • Experience with UX / UI software to ensure development teams are set-up for success and UX / UI testing processes are effective
  • Designing and running UX requirements workshops
  • Experience in Customer Journey design and wireframe production
  • Verifying product compliance with design and usability standards
  • You are experienced in collating both qualitative and quantitative data and using this to push for improvements
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks and delivery methodologies
  • Scoping and managing a variety of both qualitative and quantitative research
  • An understanding of digital user experience and a breadth of experience in customer journeys relating to E-Commerce
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience in working in a matrixed management environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills to present your ideas and design rationale to business teams and C-Suite
  • Ideally knowledge of E-Commerce trading operations
  • Experience of working with 3rd Party software suppliers and external agencies
  • Track record of managing and contributing to multiple digital projects running simultaneously
