The opportunity:  Group Digital Content Manager

 

This is an exciting time to join the Nestware Group of brands including Carpetright, Flooring Supplies, Flooring Megastore, Carpet and Flooring and The Floor room, as it embarks on an ambitious digital transformation programme. As part of this transformation, it is creating a Group Digital team that will support the Digital transformation in each of the brands within the Nestware Group.

 

 

About the opportunity:

 

  • A Group Digital Content Manager is being recruited to join the Group Digital Operations to lead our in-house content team that manages the customer-facing content on the Nestware group of websites – Carpetright, Flooring Supplies, Carpet & Flooring, Flooring Megastore and The Floor Room.
  • The Digital Content Manager will also take responsibility for the planning, creation and production of the content strategy and calendar for each brand in the Group to create engaging and exciting customer content that also drives our SEO visibility, across each the group digital platforms.
  • The tone and style of the content will be tailored to each of brands and will be a key factor in continuing to differentiate each of the brands in the Group.

 

 

 

About you:

 

  • Experience of building and establishing a successful content team in another brand/business, ideally within a fast-paced multi-site retail/customer facing ecommerce business
  • A track record of creating exciting and engaging content that has helped to successfully build brands in other companies
  • Be able to create brand guidelines and implement these to create a different tone and style of the content for each of the Nestware brands in the Group, which will help differentiate them to the customer
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of content creation and SEO and the role they play in direct product sales
  • Understand the wider eCommerce marketing mix, with experience working with digital marketing teams in eCommerce environments.
  • Be commercially savvy to manage deadlines and help prioritise team workload if necessary.
  • Be highly organised and able to keep abreast of a rapidly changing schedule of work.
  • Have a good working knowledge of data and insight tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO tools
  • Be able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
  • Experience of EPiServer / Optimizely is a plus
