Financial Operations (AP/AR) Administrator - up to 3 month FTC

Role Purpose

This role will work within the AP department that is responsible for processing all Fitter invoices, raise payments and do reconciliations, in a timely and accurate manner.

To process invoices through to account reconciliations, ensuring accurate payment of fitter’s accounts, to deliver an effective customer focused and responsive service to all customers, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all invoices are processed into the system
  • Accurate and timely matching of invoices, investigate any invoices that do not match and liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve
  • Dealing with credit queries
  • Reconciliation of fitter’s accounts, ensuring that any un-reconciled items are investigated and resolved
  • Preparing bi- weekly payment runs
  • Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor in any reporting requirements
  • Liaise with the internal fitting team with any queries and come to a resolution
  • Preparation of period end journals/reporting as required
  • Liaise with internal & external auditors when needed
  • Deal with telephone queries
  • Ensure all documents are filed and archived correctly
  • Additional duties may be required within the department as business needs dictate

 

Person Specification

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role and environment
  • D365 experience preferred but not essential
  • Good use of Excel
  • High volume data experience
