 Digital Transformation Project Manager – Carpet and Flooring (C&F) Redditch based (12-month Interim)

 

 

 

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT:

To manage the creation of the scope and specification for each of the workstreams in the C&F platform project plan and their successful and timely delivery within budget. Initially focusing on the ecommerce platform.

This will also involve working in close collaboration with the Group Digital Transformation Lead, to manage the successful and timely delivery of other Group digital transformation projects to scope and manage within budget.

 

 

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

  • Ensure the platform and digital transformation projects are delivered on time, within budget and with maximum commercial impact
  • Ensure each of the platform and digital transformation projects are clearly scoped, defined, prioritised, and resourced
  • Develop and maintain clear project plans, working with key stakeholders, third party system integrators, other internal project leads, IT and Group Digital Operations
  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for the projects, reviewing and improving, ensuring best in class disciplines and processes are in place. Ensure projects being managed remain on track, both in terms of budget and customer experience
  • Provide full transparency and updates on the agreed time to track the project of each of the programmes against the agreed project plan
  • Challenge the external and internal technical teams to ensure the best technical, commercial, and cost-effective solutions for each project
  • Proactively manage delivery of the Group platform projects (primarily C&F). Identifying and managing risks, finding solutions that preserve the timetable and commercial integrity of each project
  • Continuously updating sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring all project participants remain informed and empowered
  • Identify and apply appropriate project management methodologies on a case-by-case basis

 

 

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Extensive experience of the planning, management and delivery of large-scale ecommerce platform and ERP integrations. Experience of Optimizely (Episerver) commerce platform D365 or Epicor would be ideal
  • Experience of managing multiple digital transformation projects, ideally across multiple Group companies
  • Deep project management skills with the ability to apply different methodologies on a case-by-case basis
  • Knowledge of both ecommerce and ERP processes and technologies to challenge, inspire and guide both operational and technical stakeholders, plus internal and external members of the project team
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, ideally with experience in a Group environment
  • Commercially astute and able to set and manage significant project budgets
  • Adaptable trouble shooter with the ability to deliver solutions to complex problems
