Role Purpose

 

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the Buying Team and the management of samples for stores and customers. Principally the role involves the updating and maintenance of product information on the product data-base, sample distribution for stores, ordering stock for customer samples and assisting the Buyers with ad-hoc tasks such as store queries, competitor analysis and SSO buying sample collation and organization.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maintenance of product data-bases
  • Sample order management (stores and customers)
  • Competitor promotion and price analysis
  • SSO buying sample collation and organisation 
  • Showroom organisation
  • Dealing with store queries
  • Ad-hoc filing and clerical support

 

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience  

 

  • Computer literate and skilled in Microsoft applications ideal
  • Experience of working in a Buying function essential

  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems PPT, Excel and Word
