Buying Assistant - Part-time - Thursday to Friday (14 hours)

Role Responsibility

Role Purpose

To provide administrative support for the Buying Team, thereby contributing to the effectiveness of the Buying function and ultimately the provision of a compelling product range to our customers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of product data-bases
  • Competitor promotion and price analysis
  • SSO buying sample collation and organisation plus
  • Showroom organisation
  • Dealing with store queries
  • Ad-hoc filing and clerical support


Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience

  • Some exposure to buying in a similar environment
  • 3 years in a similar role

Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge of Carpetright systems, MS Dynamics, Excel and Word
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
