The Opportunity: Accounts Receivable Supervisor

To support and manage the Accounts receivables team, who reconcile daily tender posted via all channels. This role will be to support the AR team and all their functionality, help them with issues and problems that arise and be the point of call for escalations. The role also needs to support the AP/AR Manager in ad-hoc task and enhance systems and processes.

 

About the Opportunity

  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Manage payment runs, remittances, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Drive continuous improvements in AR processes and systems.
  • Assist in testing and implementation of system upgrades.
  • Support reporting requirements for AP/AR Manager and Financial Controller/Finance Director.
  • Provide assistance to team members during busy periods and cover workload when necessary.
  • Handle AR queries from internal colleagues, external suppliers, auditors, and telephone inquiries, ensuring proper documentation and archiving.
  • Additionally, manage HR responsibilities such as holiday approvals, timesheets, reviews, recruitment, and other duties as required.

 

 

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, handling high-volume data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and sumifs.
  • Familiarity with D365 is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels and leading a team.
  • Openness to process changes and a commitment to delivering high-quality work, even under pressure.
